The history of ProcSea began in 2016 with the strong conviction that technology could simplify and streamline seafood exchanges by digitizing them. This is how the idea of creating a simple platform of "PROCurement of the SEA" was born, which is at the origin of our name.
After 4 years as a seafood marketplace operator, ProcSea has changed course to accelerate its commitment to agri-food players. Since January 1, 2021, ProcSea has been making available to professionals (wholesalers, fish merchants, central purchasing bodies, supermarkets, etc.) its technological platform (in the form of 100% SaaS software) to help them digitize and:
- optimize their buying and selling processes,
- improve traceability
- improve their relationship with their suppliers,
- and develop their productivity.
We focus on the fluidification of the entire market through the sharing of information in real time (stock, price), the exchange of standardized computer data via GS1 standards (Pricat, Order, DESADV, Invoice) and the automation of buying and selling processes.
